Sharepoint 2007 - problem with default.aspx

I created a site with a default.aspx page customized that works fine.
Then i created a template based on this site
Then i created a site base on the template.
Sp created it but when i navigate the defualt.aspx page of the new site i get this message


The requested page cannot be viewed because it is not configured properly. It has been disconnected from its page layout. Click here to go to Page Settings and reconnect this page to a page layout.
